El Club América anuncia con orgullo que se ha convertido en Host City Supporter de la Ciudad de México y, de esa forma, se constituye como el primer club a nivel mundial en apoyar a la FIFA para la realización de la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 2026.

Sin duda, es histórico que el Club más grande y ganador de la región, como marca global, muestre su respaldo y compromiso con el evento deportivo más relevante a nivel mundial, que el próximo año se disputará en México, Estados Unidos y Canadá. Por lo tanto, agradecemos a la FIFA que nos permita ser parte central de todas las actividades que se llevarán a cabo en Host City Ciudad de México.

Histórico también será y nos llena de alegría, que el 11 de junio de 2026, nuestra casa, el Estadio Banorte, se convertirá en el único recinto del mundo en albergar por tercera ocasión una inauguración de la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 2026.

Estamos agradecidos por la oportunidad de apoyar a nuestra querida Ciudad de México, una de las ciudades más dinámicas y cosmopolitas del mundo y casa de nuestras Águilas, donde se disputarán cinco partidos de la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 2026, entre ellos, al menos dos partidos de nuestra selección mexicana.

Por tal motivo, el Club América, con más de 45 millones de aficionados en Norteamérica, no podía mantenerse ajeno a la fiesta más grande del futbol que llegará el próximo año a todos los rincones del mundo, y de manera muy especial, a nuestra ciudad.

Club America proudly announces that it has become a Host City Supporter of Mexico City, making it the first club worldwide to support FIFA in the organization of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

This milestone marks a historic moment, as the most successful and iconic club in the region, recognized as a global brand, demonstrates its support and commitment to the most important sporting event in the world, which will take place next year in Mexico, the United States, and Canada. For this reason, we thank FIFA for allowing us to play a central role in all the activities that will take place in Host City Mexico City.

Another historic moment, and one that fills us with pride, is that on June 11, 2026, our home, Estadio Banorte, will become the only stadium in the world to host the opening match of the FIFA World Cup for a third time.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support our beloved Mexico City, one of the most dynamic and cosmopolitan cities in the world and the home of our Aguilas. Five matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026 will be played here, including at least two matches featuring the Mexican National Team.
