WELCOME, NICOLÁS BENEDETTI

Nicolás Benedetti, a Colombian offensive midfielder, will take the next step in his career and land at El Nido to join Club América. The former Deportivo Cali player is 21 years old and has debuted with the Colombian National Team. He joins fellow parceros Andrés Ibargüen, Roger Martínez, and Matheus Uribe on the squad.

Known as «The Poet,» Benedetti made his professional debut on June 15, 2015 in the Copa Águila with Deportivo Cali, where he has played 9,334 minutes in 149 official matches between Liga and Copa. He has scored 26 goals, including 5 in the Copa Sudamericana. He made his international debut with Colombia on September 12, 2018 in a friendly against Argentina.
